Recommended Posts

hi SS

What ffmpeg version can I install on vuplus duo Openpli 5 ?

and how can i install serviceapp & exteplayer3 ?

Sorry for the second question

I hope you help me

This one:

http://iptvplayer.pl/resources/ffmpeg3.2.2_mipsel_fpu_hard_openssl1.0.2_dash_librtmp_native_rtmp.tar.gz

After installation ffmpeg libs, restart E2, and run IPTVPlayer will ask you to install exteplayer3.

About serviceapp I can not help you because I never install/use it.

Where are the files used for the IPTV Player cache stored ? Are these files deleted automatically when IPTV Player is closed ? If not, can these files be deleted manually without problems ?

@abra

Location of the IPTVCache folder can be changed under IPTVPlayer configuration.

I do not know what files you whant to delete.

IPTVCACHE there are:

- thumbnails

- subtitles

- favorites

- cookies

- search history

You can delete all this files but I do not think that this is what you want.

For thumbnails/icons there is option in configuration to auto remove them when not used or after IPTVPLAYER close.

About others files I do not think that you whant to delete them.

SSS

Thanks, I will check.

The free space on my harddisk is decreasing every day, but I am not sure if it comes form IPTV player.

Do the buffers used for streaming remain also on harddisk ?

It also depend from your configuration (path for buffering).

@SSS

Thanks for the information.

Is the path for buffering a IPTV Player setting or enigma2 setting ? Are the buffering files deleted automatically ?

In the config.plugins.iptvplayer.*** records from enigma2/settings file there is no setting for buffering path.

But in /hdd I there is a IPTVCache directory, I dont find where it is configured. Does IPTV Player use it ?

@abra

In the config.plugins.iptvplayer.*** records

Because if you not change default value of the option it is not saved. This is standard behavior. Did you not know this?

Why you are trying changing the settings file directly?

Go to IPTVPlayer -> Configuration -> Buffer path

There is no "buffering files" there is only one file: ".iptv_buffering.flv". Yes it is deleted.

But even not, there is no problem because when you start next video it will overwrite previous file.

@poppe32

I checked https://bs.to/ and I do not have good news. This service is protected by google captcha v2 with high security - IPTVPlayer support google captcha v2 only with low security - there is no solution for google cpatcha v2 with high security for now.

Hello,

opensubtitles.org - they often have a problems with they official API because of they server overloads.

You can read more on their forum.

But, anyway for what movie are you seraching subtitles. Please give sample. So, I will check.

I found the same subtitles using IPTVPlayer:

Download subtitles -> type: "the accidental spy" -> OpenSubtitles.org -> The Accidental Spy - vahingossa vakojaksi -> Greek [ell]

and I get list of 6 subtitles files.

About podnapisi.net IPTVPlayer are using https://www.podnapisi.net/subtitles/search/advanced

and using adwance search and key words "the accidental spy" there is not possible to found this subtitles for Greek language.

You can report this to the site admin.

But when you use "Dak miu mai shing" you will be able to found this on

https://www.podnapisi.net/subtitles/search/advanced

and also in IPTVPlayer.

It does not depend on me.

EDIT:

If you have diffrent results then my, then please provide debug logs. I will check.
